GlamourGals Foundation, Inc. Hosts 2nd Annual Power Brunch event in NYC
The GlamourGals Foundation announces that the 2nd annual Power Brunch will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018. This event is designed specifically for high school and college students and will be held at Duane Morris in New York City. The Power Brunch will feature a dynamic panel of NYC professionals from a variety of backgrounds, breakout mentor sessions, a personal style workshop by Carmen Lilly, stylist to the stars like Rihanna, as well as a guided meditation.
The GlamourGals Power Brunch offers volunteers a one-of-a-kind afternoon of professional and personal growth and development. The panelists will discuss their own career paths, as well as how to become a better decision-maker and job applicant. The panel discussion will be reinforced through intimate breakout mentor sessions with panelists and mentors from the NYC-area. During this time, the students will have the opportunity to ask for clarification on topics as well as ask questions of their own.
Additionally, the event will feature interactive workshops, including a personal style workshop that will focus on creating looks with interview and office appropriate attire, without losing your sense of style, as well as assistance with scholarship, college and job applications.
Ticketing for the event starts at $5 and will be available through March 23rd. For press passes, please contact Contact@GlamourGals.org or 631.404.0761.
The GlamourGals Foundation was originally founded by CEO Rachel Doyle during her junior year of high school in 2000. What started as a high school community service project allowing teen volunteers to provide complimentary beauty services to seniors has since grown into a thriving nonprofit organization with 100 chapters in local communities across the country. GlamourGals has now expanded to 19 states thanks to the hard work and dedication shown by its 2,700+ volunteers nationwide.
GlamourGals is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to inspire and organize teen volunteers to provide ongoing companionship and complimentary beauty makeovers to women living in senior homes. We are creating a movement of compassionate teen leaders working to end elder isolation.
